From humble beginnings...
What started as a single limestone quarry – complete with a lean-to shack as an office – would diversify and grow over the ensuing years to what is now one of Western Australia’s largest suppliers of road construction and building materials, as well as a specialist in marine construction and civil works.
Today, WA Limestone has 35 quarries located across the state offering over 40 different types of raw materials and supplying the market with more than 6 million tonnes of product each year, which is used in seawalls, roads, bridges, property developments, public spaces, railways and more.
As a marine construction and civil works specialist, the company has also helped build many of Western Australia’s most prominent highways and harbours, and completed numerous projects to support private enterprise, including local and international resources and construction companies.
The company’s contribution to the development of Western Australia is undeniable and can be seen right across the state, from as far south as Augusta and Esperance right up to Port Hedland, Karratha, Darwin, and everywhere in between.
After 50 years of operating, WA Limestone is one of the state’s most successful and largest privately-owned quarry and contracting companies to date.
