The Group is committed to advancing sustainable construction practices through the development of recycled materials for the Perth market. WA Premix, a key subsidiary, has introduced innovative recycled concrete initiatives that incorporate reclaimed materials into new construction products, reducing waste and conserving natural resources. The Group is also focusing on repurposing by-products from projects like the Kwinana Energy Recovery Plant, including bottom ash, to create sustainable construction aggregates used in concrete products, road base, and blocks. These efforts not only reduce reliance on quarried virgin materials but also enhance Western Australia’s transition to a circular economy by turning waste into valuable resources for infrastructure development.
