Bunbury Waterfront Redevelopment

In November 2024, WA Limestone, in collaboration with Italia Stone Group, was awarded a $70 million contract for the construction of a breakwater as part of the Transforming Bunbury’s Waterfront project. This initiative aims to enhance the waterfront area, promoting tourism and economic growth in the region. The project involves significant seafloor dredging as well as the supply and placement of substantial quantities of core and armour rock, to build the breakwater, providing essential protection against coastal erosion and improving marine infrastructure.
