Tonkin Gap Alliance – Tonkin Gap Project and Associated Works

As part of the Tonkin Gap Alliance (Georgiou Group, BMD, WA Limestone, BG&E and GHD) WA Limestone supplied crushed-rock road base, crushed limestone sub-base and concrete and limestone blocks for three components of the project including the Guildford Road intersection, Swan River crossing and Morley-Ellenbrook rail enabling works.

The project delivered improved traffic flow and safety, and enhanced facilities for cyclists, pedestrians, and the community. Its supply chain involved over 300 subcontractors and suppliers delivering packages of work with a focus on local spend and supply, emerging and Aboriginal-owned businesses and small and medium-sized enterprises.
